No, we work with in-country partners and translators to communicate with patients.

CERT offers general medical care to treat common diseases, provide dental extractions, distribute medications (non-narcotic), dispense eyeglasses, and educate communities on health and nutrition.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old (or accompanied by a parent/guardian if younger). There is no upper age limit, but individuals must be fit for travel and field conditions and may be asked to produce a Statement of Fitness from their physician.

CERT mission trips are open to anyone with a heart to serve. While medical and dental professionals are essential, non-medical volunteers are vital in assisting with patient intake, pharmacy distribution, organizing aid, and supporting local ministries.
