Staff:

Welcome and Thank You for your interest in our ministry. My name is Bob Green and I am the Executive Director/CEO for CERT International.

I was born and raised in Michigan and resided in both Georgia and Florida as well. I graduated from Riverside Military Academy and worked for over 22 years for DTE Energy in project management. Married my wife, Debbie, and have 2 children, Stephanie and Robert. Debbie is a Teaching Assistant working with physically and mental impaired children in public schools.

After leaving DTE Energy in 2001, we moved to Tennessee. We are members of Central Baptist Church, Crossville TN and both Debbie and I are active in Sunday School, Children’s Ministry and I also serve as the Leader for Missions at the church. I began working for CERT in 2005 as a volunteer serving in Mexico and Romania and in 2008, I was asked to start leading teams. I have worked in Mexico and Romania and served in Peru as the VP for CERT Peru South America. Debbie has also been active on our Romania teams. Most recently, we opened new opportunities in Lebanon and Ukraine and will be returning to India in 2020.

In July 2018, as our former CERT President made plans for retirement, I was asked by the Board of Directors to head up the team as the new Executive Director/CEO. In 2019 we celebrated 45 years as a serve and assist Christian Ministry. CERT teams have traveled to more than 44 countries during that time. Bringing needed health care, humanitarian aid but more importantly, the Gospel and the knowledge of Jesus Christ to the lost.
We GO because we have all been commanded.

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”  MATTHEW 28: 18-20

My name is Dianna McGee, but I favor going by ‘McGee’.  I started working for CERT International in August of 2022 after various positions in Louisiana, Maine, Texas, Tennessee and Georgia. What began as a part time admin job has turned into a labor of love.

With a 20+ year career in customer service, having traveled to 38 US states, Canada and Mexico, I know how important it is to treat people with respect.  I have also worked as a veterinarian assistant, cross-country semi-truck driver, typist for several newspapers, bookkeeper for a printing company, children’s 90-acre summer camp director, accounts receivable and payable for a food-processing plant, auditor, process improvement and quality control for a manufacturer of protective fabric, production manager with a crew of 15 in operations, and office manager for a NAPA franchise of 11 stores.

I continue to volunteer designing flyers for the Anah Shriners Circus in Presque Isle, Maine, 1,400 miles from here.  I proofread books prior to publication and have taught Creation topics occasionally in our women’s Sunday School class.  As leader of our church library group, I am responsible for overseeing the library and supplying volunteer staff for the hours it is open to church members, financial considerations, book purchases and maintenance, and online access.

My mission with CERT is to support those leaders and team members heading overseas, supplying materials to assist on trips, answering questions quickly in the office via email and phone, maintaining financial records and making certain the monthly newsletter goes out to all CERT supporters on time, along with the unusual and unorthodox requests.

Always up for a challenge, I enjoy seeing the world impacted by the love of Jesus knowing  our short-term missions affect people long-term…and reading a good mystery book or political thriller!

Give me a call!

Hello! My name is Kathleen Holden and I have had the privilege of working with CERT since the end of 2021. I love experiencing other cultures and helping people around me

“He also brought me out into an open place; He rescued me, because He delighted in me.” – Psalm 18:19

The first time I read this verse, I was a young girl and I remember grabbing hold of the promise that God will rescue me because He delights in me. It got me through many a night terror!! As I’ve grown, I’ve been able to see how the Lord continues to rescue me and bring me out of situations into broad places of safety. It is my passion to share the Gospel and love of Jesus with those in need of rescue, while meeting a physical need in His name. Showing the world, not just in words, but in deeds that Jesus is real and that He truly wants to rescue and deliver every person who will let Him. I am very blessed to partner with CERT to see this mission accomplished.

I also have a heart for the unreached people of the earth, those with little to no witness of the Gospel. It is my hope to one day work extensively with these people to make Jesus known. In the meantime, I get to help CERT forge relationships that will hopefully result in new possibilities and access to the unreached.

I am Aniel Naste.  I serve in Romania with my wife, Ana and our new daughter, Ada.
I was born in a Christian family that took me to church since I was a small child and that was a great blessing for me. Also my extended family has a long tradition in the Cristian faith and was always very involved in church since my great grandfather was one of the first Christians in Transylvania after he came to Christ in USA and he returned back to Romania to bring the faith into this lands too. I was always used to church ministry, mission work since a lot of my relatives were involved in it.

My first contact with CERT was in 2004 when I was driving the church van for the missionaries that came with CERT. And over the next years I started to drive the medical teams in the morning and then the pastors to the churches in the evening. Then one night I drove Ken Daugherty to a church and when he found out I was speaking English I started to translate for him first at the clinics and then I was translating his sermons. In 2008 when CERT first brought VBS ministry teams I was part of the translators for that team and so I was getting closer and closer to CERT and thru them God was growing my faith and shaping me for my future life.

I still remember that every time after a week or 2 with CERT I was staying home and clearly hearing God calling me into full ministry but I knew too well from my family what that meant and I didn’t want that for me. To somehow fill that urge for service I started to get involved more in church and in different camps and mission ministries that members from my families were involved. But at the same time I was getting really involved in studying and after I got my bachelor in Management I started my masters in Communication and Construction management and after I finished my master I got an MBA in Portugal that I also finished and I was on my way toward my PhD when God said that’s enough, it’s time for you to get into ministry. This was in autumn of 2011, after 2 weeks with a CERT team I felt God’s calling like I never did before and I just could not say no anymore and I just got on my knees and prayed and told God that whoever calls my first there is where I will go and I didn’t finish praying before the phone rang and it was a cousin missionary in the south that asked me to go and help. And I did just that. In the autumn of 2011 I moved to the south of Romania, the least evangelized place in Europe, and since then I serve the Lord as a full time missionary.

Since then my relationship with CERT grew and I became the one that organizes their mission trip to Romania, then we moved to Moldova also and now we go to Ukraine together also. I’m also responsible for the Romania pastor program that CERT so faithfully has had for many years in Romania and that impacts a lot of Churches and people in Romania. Now I work in church planting in the south of Romania where I have a church that is growing constantly almost to the point where we are now ready to plant other churches around our village. And of course because CERT impacted my life so much I had to take something that I learned from them and I started to apply the way CERT is doing missions in Romania and in other countries. Taking teams of doctors to the poorest in Romania and to Ukraine, Moldova and last year we were able to even go to Uzbekistan which is a Muslim country were Christianity is forbidden. And while the doctors take care of the body we have a team that talks and pray with the people that are waiting and for us this is one of the best way to proclaim the Gospel to the unreached.

Alex Lenz started working with CERT International as a translator when he was 12 years old. He grew up in El Arca Children’s Home and would translate for CERT teams when they came to serve in the jungle. Now Alex and his wife Karen serve as regional partners in Peru and handle all logistics for our South American teams. Alex also has a photography and tourism business.
